Doing that would require significant modification to the factory harness. Not knocking your idea, it should work ok, and keep ot cooler than being under a charge pipe and next to a radiator hose, but i would jist buy new injector, coil, and a few sensor pigtails and wire them in. Ive thought of doing this, and moving the relay box there as well. In responce to bernie, checking timing shouldnt be an issue if you have an old plug wire, or spark tester kit. The ecu should be well shielded by its case, but i stil wouldnt bolt the ptu on top of it. Maybe mount it to the cross bar above the ecu?
